Quadasia Gilliam is the Founder and CEO of Diamonique Beauty, a luxury beauty brand rooted in the belief that beauty is more than appearance—it's restoration, confidence, and freedom.

Born and raised in rural Bertie County, North Carolina, Quadasia's love for beauty began long before she ever considered turning it into a business. As the only daughter in her household, makeup wasn't something she was freely allowed to wear. Instead, she found herself quietly exploring it on her own.

"I used to sneak makeup on before school because I was so fascinated by it," she recalls. "I admired women who carried themselves with confidence. Their makeup and style weren't what captivated me—it was the confidence they seemed to possess."

At 18, Quadasia became a mother, and like many young mothers, her own self-care took a back seat as she devoted herself to raising her children. Years later, after welcoming her second child, she reached a defining moment.

"I realized my life was heading in a direction I didn't want for myself or for my family," she says. "That was the moment I stopped postponing my own healing and started investing in myself spiritually, mentally, and physically."

Her renewed commitment to personal growth led her to church, where her faith deepened and transformed every area of her life. Around the same time, she began practicing makeup as a creative outlet she could enjoy from home while caring for her young children. What started as a hobby quickly developed into a passion.

Recognizing her talent before she fully recognized it herself, Quadasia's aunt encouraged her to begin accepting clients and gifted her the very first professional makeup kit that launched her career. That single act of belief became the foundation of what would eventually grow into Diamonique Beauty.

Today, Quadasia has become known for creating timeless, elevated beauty experiences for brides, professionals, public figures, and women celebrating life's most meaningful moments. Through every appointment, she seeks to provide more than flawless makeup—she creates an environment where women feel seen, valued, and confident.

"What began as a journey back to myself became the avenue God used for me to serve other women," Quadasia says. "For me, makeup has never just been about cosmetics. It represents restoration. It represents freedom. Sometimes a woman doesn't just need a makeover—she needs a reminder of who she is."
